With the purchase of a general admission ticket, each attendee will receive a sample from every beer, cider and food vendor plus, this year, we also have free ice cream samples thanks to Foothills Creamery. Each attendee can return for additional food servings until the vendors run out. Additional drinks are available for purchase onsite and online. VIP Ticket holders get all samples from the food and drink vendors plus will have additional food and beverages in the VIP tent.

Barley & Smoke 2024 is not a kid-friendly event. Our liquor license with the AGLC is an 18+ event and no minors are permitted to be at the event during the allotted time. The only exception is the Kids Cancer Care Spokeskid who shares their cancer journey at the event and must remain under strict supervision and are given advance clearance.

This event will happen in rain or shine. VIP Ticket holders will have their own tent which will protect from the elements and we will have several tables with umbrellas.

Yes, there will be samples of and wine at this year's event and full drink sizes of ciders and wine are available for purchase in the Barley & Smoke marketplace tent. Wine and cocktails are included in VIP tickets. There will also be an assortment of sodas and other non alcoholic beverages available for purchase at the event.

All tickets are non-refundable but are transferable.

We receive lots of request onsite to upgrade tickets once attendees see the amazing VIP Lounge and all the perks it offers. Unfortunately, due to the ticketing system platform, it is not possible to change ticket types once purchased. We encourage you to consider purchasing a VIP ticket in advance of the event due to limited spots and the fact that they sell out each year.

Parking is available for $15 in Lot 2 of the Stampede grounds. It is recommended to consider car pooling or to use transit. There is no overnight parking for RV trailers at Enmax Park.

There is city transit available (c-train and bus) Uber or Taxi

We do not recommend that people bring their pets in order to fully enjoy the experience but it is an outdoor park and the city bylaw in place allows for pets.
